RANDOM THOUGHTS

I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

BUDDIES & PALS

Some of my friends also have Web sites. Some of them are even better than mine. Hard to believe, I know.

SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN HERE

The obiligitory links page can be found here. Links are great filler when your Web site doesn't have any actual "content."

"QUOTES"

Okay, Bartlett I'm not. But when I was in high school I started keeping a file of quotes that I heard or funny things that my friends said. A lot of them aren't going to make sense to anybody but me. I haven't added any in a couple years, maybe I should start updating it again. Anyway, here it is: a really long list of unfamiliar quotations. Okay, I lied. I've started updating it again, but this time in a new file. Maybe this time I will organize it a little better.

THE DePAUW'S ROGUE
150TH ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE

In April 2002, The DePauw newspaper celebrated the 150th anniversary of student journalism at DePauw. I set up a Web Site with information about the event. Since it is, technically, "over" I guess this isn't much use anymore. But you can still buy T-shirts and other The DePauw knicknacks from the company store.

THE DeRAP

My friend Jeff Mohl wrote a rap about our college newspaper and even made a music video with it. You can read the lyrics, but the video is about 80 megs, so e-mail me if you really want to see it.
"Put it all together, without one flaw /
Award winning, baby. It's called The DePauw."

THE DeHOTEL CALIFORNIA

Jon Fortt is a technology writer at the Mercury News. We went to school together. He used to write staff songs for our college newspaper and sang them at our end-of-the-year parties. He is actually a really good singer. He wrote this one when he was editor.
