THANKS, CALIFORNIA. WAS IT AS GOOD FOR YOU AS IT WAS FOR ME?

So I'm heading out tonight. Movers are here packing up my stuff. I had a great time, California. You were amazing. Remember the beach in Santa Cruz? Wine tasting in Napa? Skiing in Tahoe? SNDSJ? Sailing the San Francisco Bay? Taking the 5 down to LA? Making things out of clay? Wait. Sorry. We never did that last one. MEANWHILE: Am I the only person who can't wait for The Aristocrats to come out? It's a independent documentary about the so-called dirtiest joke ever told. That they even made a trailer for it was probably a feat unto itself. So best is this quote from Entertainment Weekly: "Out of the 101 comedians who appear on screen (including Robin Williams, Sarah Silverman, Eric Idle and Lewis Black), no one is funnier -- or more disgusting -- than Bob Saget or Gilbert Gottfried." Awesome. Now, if you are wondering, the joke doesn't have one telling. Really, it's more an improv framework. Provided the telling is shockingly vulgar and disgusting, then it has been told correctly. As an example, here is Cartman's telling of the joke, which appears in the movie. And, provided you've been following along here, you know that clip is really not safe for work. Unless your work computer doesn't have sound. In which case, click away. HE'S OPENING THE CLOSET: If you haven't seen the R. Kelly Trapped In The Closet videos, you need to go watch them. Now. Your pop-culture literacy depends on it. IN OTHER NEWS So I'm watching the Family Guy the other night:
PETER: "Everybody I got bad news: We've been cancelled. Unfortunately, there's just no more room on the schedule. We've just gotta accept the fact that Fox has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80's Show, Wonderfalls, Fast Lane, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Skin, Girls Club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda at Large, Costello, The Lone Gunmen, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric the Entertainer, The Tick, Louis, and Greg the Bunny." LOIS: "Is there no hope?" PETER: "Well I suppose if ALL THOSE SHOWS go down the tubes we might have a shot."
Awesome. END IT: OK, seriously. I'm outta here.
